Our approach

Hebrew is a language that spans time and distance, but just like any other language, we believe anyone can learn it. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds and religions – no background in Hebrew and/or Judaism is necessary. Our small and friendly classes combine our methods to help you learn everything from grammar patterns to everyday communication you can immediately put to use with your friends and family.

I am a translator and Hebrew copy editor and have been working with language most of my life. A native Hebrew speaker, I studied linguistics and cultural studies, and speak a few languages that often allow me to meet you where you’re at. My approach is grammatical because I believe it’s the best way to learn and identify patterns.

An experienced Hebrew teacher for all levels and an expert in making you talk, even if you think you can’t. I am a recent UBC graduate with an M.Ed. in Modern Languages, and hold an M.A. in communications & journalism, with a focus in sociolinguistics and media studies.
